Rigid Dually D2's

I want to install some Dually D2's where my fog lights are and will use the Driving model instead of spot or flood. Can i run these at night with oncoming traffic or will they be to bright? I like running my fog lights on low beam so don't want to lose that option. I've got the 20" light bar wired into my bright lights so would like to have a little more light on low beam but don't want to make oncoming motorists mad by blinding them. I found a mounting bracket online and i can angle them in many different directions so wasn't for sure if i could point them down some and get away with it.

I just installed these on the front of my truck. There is NO WAY you can run these while driving. They will blind anyone. Seriously they are ridiculous bright for other drivers. They are awesome though. For instance, I just use my upfitter switch and use them whenever I want. Only thing that sucks is not being able to use them all the time. Makes a big difference.

Here's my set up.

No way could you leave them on. I have 4 mounted and 2 pointed right for the ditch. These little things light up the tops of the trees along the highway, light output is crazy.

I kind of figured they would be to bright to run all the time. Since i have the 20" bar, I guess i'll leave my fogs stock.

Thank you for the input….

Did you use the stock brackets that came with the lights or did you have to buy or make bracket separately to install there?Look good.

I used a single piece of aluminum angle iron. There are already pre drilled holes on each side you can see if you look in the bumper so that's where I attached it too. Not the best pics but it may give you an idea.

For those of you that have installed these, what color did you go with? I noticed they have different color LEDs. Also what would you suggest for back dirt road use (Spot, Flood, or Driving)?

I went to their website and I didn't find much additional information, so any suggestions would be appreciated.

I personally like the driving pattern the best but it's all preference. It gives a good balance of distance and spread. So far I haven't had a problem with any type of road service and mine are white. You can always buy different color lens covers I believe if you want to try something different.

I've got the D2 Driving beams in place of my factory fogs. They're awesome but wayyyy too bright to use with oncoming traffic. The beam spread is tall like a giant oval that you can see in the trees at night.
