no idea!! please help!!
Just got hom from work drove the bronco. Going down the road its 55 bronco wouldn't let me go past 45mph. Everytime I get on the gas it acts like its not breathing at at all. It will syart jumping. Any ideas what it could be?

pull codes, and also check fuel pressure at the rail with a fuel pressure gauge. check with key on and with engine running then report back.
may also be a clogged catalytic converter.

That is exactly what nine did a few weeks ago.
It was the fuel system, the pump or the filter.
Change your fuel filter first!! It takes 10 minutes with the right tool and costs $20.00 or so.
I changed the pump AND the filter at the same time, I may have been able to just do the filter. (internet analysis!)

Alright so I replaced the fuel filter! And did a pressure check on the fuel rail was fine. Have no idea wtf is going on. When I pulled the old filter out it just leaked out the most dirty fuel I seen in my life time! But new filter is in and new fresh gas is in and still doing the same crap!!!!! I'm now thinking clogged cat or massive vaccum leak...

unhook your y pipe from the manifolds and take it for a quick drive. it will be pretty loud for sure so dont go to far. This wont hurt anything and you will find out fast if the issue was the cat or not.
and when you say the fuel pressure was fine what was it exactly? and did you perform both the key on and engine running tests?

It was the same with my filter. Rusty brown and trickling out.
No loss in the change.
