Gridlines on mirror backup camera?

Is your backup camera in the mirror like mine? I do not have the touch screen.

Ya I have the one in the mirror as well. I don't have the touch either just the smaller 4" screen. As the other poster mentioned I'm assuming the lines are the backup colour lines to show how close you are to an object (Green, Yellow, Red). By default the truck was set to only show the colours when objects where in range. In the menu options via your steering wheel (not the radio) you can set it so they are on all the time. You can also set the delay option as well. That is where the image will stay on the mirror for a few seconds after you start to move forward. I think so you can check the status of things after starting your tow maybe?

Does yours disappear? I turned mine on the other day and had the gridlines and the post in the middle. Today when I put the truck in reverse they were gone.

Set the gridlines yesterday. Drove the truck today and the gridlines are present. So far so good.
