transmission help please

I have a 00 super duty 4x4 I was out playing in the desert and was just about to go up a sand hill when everything felt like it shifted into neutral I had the hubs locked but it was only in 2 wheel drive I have no gears what so ever the pump is sucking fluid down and I changed the filter out still nothing when running I can pull it all the way down into 1st and all the way back to park makes no noise and can put in 4 low while running and in gear

Welcome to FTE!

Sounds like a tranny failure. Ford reman unless there is a professional remanufacturer in your area that does the upgrades.

I was told possibly the converter or input shaft could be bad

You can speculate all you want, but at this point, a tear down and inspection is probably in order.

Yeah ended up being the transmission I pulled it last night
