Did early 6.4's have problems???

Did early 6.4's have problems???
I am in the market for a 2008 with the 6.4 and was wondering if there were any early issues with the 6.4 that they fixed later on??? My dad has a 2010 with about 60k on it and has yet to have any issues (knock on wood). Also the vehicle is a 450 so not sure if there were any issues with this engine within that platform as well .... Any help or insight would be greatly appreciated!!!

I have an 08 SRW F-250 6.4 with 77K and thus far (knock on wood) it has been a pleasure to own and drive.
I stay ahead of the required maintenance and so far the only issue I have had was an EGT sensor that went bad..."Check Engine" light only, it didn't leave me stranded.

Besides the Radiator, the rocker arms on the 08's wear out on the ends (approx. 100K mi.) and sometimes crack at the pivot point. I've seen a lot of catastrophic bottom end failures, spun bearings and broken connecting rods on the two rear cylinders. I think that all of the bottom end problems are from poor maintenance and/or diesel fuel added to the crankcase due to DPF system.
