97 explorer xlt
I have a 97 explorer xlt with `197,000 miles runs great when I can start it. Today it will not start It turns over but there is no combustion just the starter spinning the engine. yesterday it started and I drove it parked it it started after sitting for a while and ran well This is a general pattern starts for 3 or 4 days in a row then after it sits overnight it will not start. I take it to my mechanic <who has taken care of this Ford for years will get it to start and like I said it is ok for 3 or 4 days then bam nothing. He even tried a replacement computer not the answer. the only code says there is a bad sensor in the transmission. I joined this forum because a friend told me the best Ford techniciains live here please help I can provide more info. if needed
