Hi Newbie here....I happen to found this site by accident. It is just what I am looking for.
I have 1986 Ford F150 4 x 4 short bed truck with EFI 6 banger.
...Yep you read it right....EFI 300 6 cylinder instead of carb 6 cylinder.I convert to EFI for more power and bit better fuel economy.....well fuel economy could be better but I got a heavy foot.
I also convert to worked out AOD from T18 trans. I love it...shift so hard and feels great.
Anyway...to make the story short...this truck is falling apart due to Beach Buggy joy riding and road salt from nasty Northeast winter.
I'm parting the truck out as soon I find a replacement...of course...it is going to be Ford truck again...

I sold my 6 banger... Have regreted it for a long time until I got my PSD. Well it does help with the Forditis.. Its a thing that I get whenever I don't drive it for a couple of days..
