Starting issues
My 1991 F-350 is having a sporadic starting issue. there was a cold snap here and the weather got into the teens and that is when the problem started. before when I would try to start it when I turned the key to the on position there was a buzz and then the truck would start. Now there is no buzz and the truck wont start but ocasionally when there is a buzz the truck will start. Is the buzz the fuel pump? or is it a relay? it would not make sence that it would be the fuel pump since it does not matter which tank it is on\ if there is no buzz it will not start. of course this could be an ignition problem I am going to check into that.

If the buzz is coming from the front, it's probably just a relay. That is a cheap thing to try first. Give the relay plug a good inspection, too. They are known for corrosion problems as well as breakage failures. If that doesn't do it, do the fuel pump run test. There are a couple of recent threads that will show you how.
