There are a lot of Tunes out there. I would suggest searching the forum for "Tuners" "Tune" "Programmer" and look at the variety in relation for what you would like to get out of the truck such as towing, horsepower, economy etc.<O</O
I use an Edge Insight programmer. I am happy with it and what it does. Some have cautioned me about using it for a number of reasons. There are a few items that are known to wreak havoc. Understanding what the tune does, how it does it, and using the programmer tune responsibly will ensure trouble free performance.<O</O
The challenge is there is a LOT of stuff out there. Some of that STUFF can get you into trouble! I don't have enough knowledge or information to speak about many of them. I can say that from person al experience, myself and three others that I know well use Edge Insight CTS, Edge Insight Juice with Attitude programmers and we have had good results.<O</O
I tow a 12K lb. Fifth Wheel and enjoy the adjustment the programmer makes to the PCM for towing. <O</O
I think you will get more responses if you tailor you question to performance, or towing, or economy tunes or perhaps programmers in general.<O</O

SCT Performance - More Power! Less Fuel! IMHO SCT is the BEST tuner for a 6.0 powerstroke.

Several custom tuners to choose from. Matt@Gearhead, Chris@TSD, and Bill from PHP (same guy that wrote your FICM tune).

Since you have an Atlas 80, tunes won't do too much for you as far as power, but it will help with firming up the shifts and adjusting the shift points.

If you had either the Atlas 40 or the Econo FICM tune you would see more of a benefit as both are not as aggressive as the Atlas 80.
