E4OD Shifts funny

I have a 96 F-350 and the transmition started to shift kinda funny . Seems like after it shifts into over drive the converter will not lock up right away .Also , it also slips quite a bit if you stand on the gas . If I start off from a stand still and accelerate with the gas pedal on the floor the shifts are hard and the converter will lock right away . Also , as am after thought , the shifts appear to be delayed when just driving normal . Any thoughts ??

What does the fluid seem like (color, smell, level)? Maybe you're due for a change?

DO you have the right size tires? IS the speed calibrated properly? All these will change the way the tranny shifts.

i have an f-150 with an e4od.....drove like that for a while then went downhill fast......needless to say it doesn't go anywhere anymore
