I've been thinking about remaking the one that I built in mine. It slides over my 3200 watt inverter and has 120v plugs in the rear and 2 USB/120v plugs in the front. I'm thinking about moving my gauges down low too but haven't decided. Looks like you got a pretty good plan, now get to work. Ha ha ha

I like the idea of an inverter integrated into the design. I'm going to start mocking it up today with cardboard

There are a few things I would do different, like add cup holders in the back, and make a 2 layer lid so I can prop it up and strap my iPad in so my kids can watch movies and still have a piece underneath to use as an arm rest. Mine ended up fitting super right between the seats that it doesnt move and the inverter helps hold it too, so I never bolted it down. Tight is right. Lol. I can get some pics if you would like to check it out and know what not to do. Ha ha ha

Thanks I would like to see some pics before I start cutting wood. I don't have a back seat so I don't need back cup holders. I think I'm going do use leather on my lid with some padding for an armrest

Here is a couple more. It's kinda messy. Lol

The lower hole in the back is the 120v plug on the inverter and the upper is the on/off switch and indicator lights for the inverter
