Sorry to start a new thread on an old topic but I have a trick that can save much time on the door seal mod. The first thing you need is an air compressor, the second is some string, think the thin cotton string used on a kids balloon or kite string, I used braided fishing line at 50lb test.
Tie a knot with some large loops at one end and insert it into the door seal. Take your compressed are and blow the string/line through the seal. It didn't take me more than 10 seconds to get the string through. After that tie the string to the tubing and drag it through. I was able to do all four doors in about 15 minutes start to finish.

I first I thought what is this guy smokin' but that is a great idea! Reps. It should be added to the tech folder somehow.
You could even get innovative and tie something on the end.

just how exactly, do you "blow" the string through the seal. I would think using a shopvac you could pull the string through, but I just can't picture how you would blow it through.

DOE
Air compressor and a nozzle, the air will force the string with a small knot (like a sail) on the end of it through the seal
I'm confused. What's the advantage of this over just regular ol fish tape like some video that was posted in another thread?
Or is this method for when you don't have fish tape?

This is faster, less messy, and easier, he did all of his in a very short time. In that video with the fish tape (I don't even have one) they showed spraying silicone in every air hole and hassling with it. This is phht and it's done.

Exactly, the string goes through, tie the tubing on and pull it through.
