FWIW I put a set of MAC TFA-693 on my '94 Lightning with a 351W and they fit with a small notch cut out of the frame. They did clear the E40D as-is, but I cut the collectors off anyway because I'm a perfectionist.
FWIW I think the frame width is the same between a '77 and a '94.
Here's my thread on NLOC, looks like some of the pics are missing, but gives an idea.

Thanks for the post and link .
I keep looking at the hooker and headman headers that I know fit and it looks like the pipes off of #1 and #2 cylinders sweep back too much on these .
I guess I am really waiting for someone to say yes I have done it or I tried it and it didn't work . I wish I could try to test fit them but they are about 90 miles from here.
