my eec keeps burning out!! please help
I have a 92 f350 that was givin to me with a burnt computer I went out and bought a referb.that was programed pluged it in and all was good. Untill the next morning.went to start the truck and once again the eec was burnt long story short some how it keep geting water in the plug.how can I water proof it and is there any wires I should check before I install another new one?any help would be great!

Have you opened up the computer to see exactly what was burnt? If it's the same place every time that would suggest a wiring short which you would be wise to track down.
The EEC plug should have a rubber gasket around it and the area where the wires enter should also have a gasket.

Do you recall what the code was by number and what test it was displayed in?
Depending on when a code is displayed it can have very different definitions. And to be perfectly honest I do not know what code equates to "a short".
