trouble updating x3

trouble updating x3
im trying to update my x3 but im having a problem, i start by holding down the cancel button and while i hold down i plug the x3 into my computer, i hold for 3 seconds and then let go. The screen on the x3 stays blue but nothing shows up, i then click browse button on the computer and when i try to find the firmwire on my computer there is none?? how do i find the firmwire if i dont have it on my computer guys??

i called SCT tech suport after work and they took control of my computer and had to redo everything! Turns out i had the old update software and ihad to first download the new one then for some reason my X3 was locked so the tech had to unlock it somehow and then everything worked properly like its suppose too
