So my buddy has a 72 f250 with a 390 that he would like to swap for a 460. Is there any 2wd motor stands that can be used for the swap?also he is wanting to keep it cheap so l&l is out of the question for him, any help is appreciated
I suggest finding an upper 70s with 460 & tranny for C6 or bell for manual, along with the perches. Get it all in one place. FE bell pattern is different.
Another thing, to use the same trans mount and driveshaft he'll have to swap the output shaft and housing in the C6 if it doesn't have the short non slip housing.
