Scangauge 2 eot not working?

Scangauge 2 eot not working?
My dad called me today an said that when he started the truck the eot was 75.3 or close to that. It was plugged in. And when he started driving it never changed. The ect was working fine. What would be the problem here? Anyone else see this before? Thanks

If he punched the SGII on before he turned the key on they sometimes have a brain fart. Tell him to key on before he hits the power button or let it come on by itself and see if that doesn't work better.

the SG2 is funny sometimes, I've had 1 of the 4 positions get stuck and the easiest way was to shut the truck down… unplug the sg2, then plug the sg2 back in and THEN start the truck.
you could probably also just unplug the SG2, wait a couple of seconds, and then plug it back in - it should come to live and be all good again
