223 DIPSTICK MEASUREMENTS

I couldn't find in older thread, can someone please resend? I ask because the cap on mine moves around and would like to know correct full and add line. I don't have a oil change for a couple more months to tell that way...thanks in advance

I was just thinking, scary, I know...

is there a difference in dipstick design/length for different years of 223? like how the valve cover design changed?

Well, I can only speak to the two dipsticks that I have and they are both as described in the other thread. Either mine have been both changed out or perhaps yours has. It dosen't really matter though as long as you know where the full compliment of oil hits on your dipstick. You can always just put a new mark on it or maybe spend some quality time in your neighborhood junk yards!

Everybody's measuring their dipsticks. I'll refrain from comment as I have no clue. I do know the 292 I have has two different places to put your dipstick.
Depends on your pan as to where you put it.
