Looking for AC control
Hi, It's difficult to find a AC Heater control assembly for my 1980 F150 4x4. This truck originally came with a 302 but was swapped for a 351m some time in the past - before I bought the truck.
I'm looking for a AC heater control assembly for the dash. I've see some same year models with the defroster switch on it or the duel gas tanks. Will one of those work for my truck - I don't have duel gas tanks for a defroster.
I would appreciate an shared knowledge. Thanks

Yes, the ones from the same year but with the switches will work, you just won't have wires to plug into the switches.
The wiring changed after 1981 or 82 (I forget) and some electrical connectors are different, not sure if that included that HVAC panel, though....
