Dang, I was hoping to convert but it may not be an option. If I change my distributor, will it then be possible. Of course I would then need to change that holley 1904 I have on there.

why can't you install the Pertronix?
or were you specifically wanting to switch to Duraspark?

Would the Pertronix work with the stock distributor? I think it is the spark o matic. The holley has a spark control valve.

DuraSpark Electronic Ignition introduced in 1974, but not all vehicles came with it until 1976.

All FoMoCo vehicles w/DuraSpark: 1974 module is 1974 only; 1975 module is 1975 only.
I meant an aftermarket conversion, of course. My 292 didn't come with it either, but the distributor has been converted to Duraspark components.

Summit Racing shows a Pertronix part # for your engine, yes.

All you're doing is replacing the points, so the spark control valve mess doesn't matter.
