Wiring problems
Well before I started the only problem was the running light on the left rear with the headlights on of course. Now I have all the turn signal blinking when I put the left signal on. The right performs as it is suppose to. 2.5 hours and I am no closer to the problem maybe farther.

this is very typical to a ground problem. your signal power is hunting through the sockets until it finds ground. I suggest pulling the signal bulbs and checking ground continuity from the socket to frame.

If you were re-doing dash or T/S wiring just before your l/s signal started messing up, double check yourself. A lot of PO's *******ize the dash wiring and make it hard to follow. If this is the case,Ya might consider re-doing your wiring the KISS method. Keep It Simple Stupid.

Is the blinker actually blinking the bright element in the bulb? Or is it just blinking the running lights on the other bulbs? Know what I mean? If it is back feeding into the parking lamps, it could then blink all the other bulbs. Remove the lenses and confirm.
Don't know about your previous issue, but sounds like something is crossed up.
