What would be the value of the Custom Cab instrument cluster on a 1966 F250? Not talking about the bezel, which is available after-market, but the housing into which all the gauges are fit - the thing that the bezel attaches to?
I redid my gauge cluster with new gauges and don't have need of the original pieces anymore. If I wanted to sell the housing, what might it be worth? Thanks
Are the 65-66 custom cab instrument clusters the same? and are they only used with the custom cabs with the brushed/checkered design? Dash bezel I want to get this type of cluster for my 66 crew
Should have been a NOS CC 0 mile sweep Speed o with a NOS bezel and dust cover with NOS outboard oil and amp gauges....
At lease that's what was in in when it left my garage.
Garbz
Don't believe it came with the crew once it got to me. along with a lot of other parts you had for it. Most the body panels were swapped. Pretty much it got robbed as a donor for its parts. only things original to you was the hood, steel grille, bed, cab and (rear doors I think?). So a 65-66 custom cab gauge cluster is what I'll need and the cc bezel? That really sucks that the NOS whole setup was gone. I would of loved to see that. Also Garbz what kind of headers will I need to get for the crew? I'm putting in a 460 and zf5 trans and been wondering what I needed for headers since it's a odd build.
So the NOS bezel that Garbz had would of came from the parts counter without the optional side holes drilled for gauges? Whoever installed it would of had to cut the holes for optional gauges?

I had planned to use Sanderson to fit a 78 equipped with a 460. It also had a set of front and rear billet prototype sill plates These were the first set made. The passenger rear door was robbed from the front for some reason. The body lines will not match up as the rear door has about 3/4 inches of fall front to rear. it is 3/4" too high if a uni door is used up front.
Did it still have the stock 460 perches and insulators?
You could use a CC or use a steel bezel and have it chromed and place a dakota digital analog cluster in it..BAD ***!
I also had a nice tailgate, was surface rusty from being sand blasted and left out.
So I could get any header made for a 78-79 f150 2wd equipped with a 460? And it should fit? What's that power steering box you put on it stock rebuild? Still has that and yes I do have the sill plates for around the steps. I had a feeling they might have been a one off piece as I looked at them very nice!!!! So it sounds like I will need to do some cutting and relocating the body line in the rear doors? Once I find good uni doors for the front? I'd kind of like to finish it to your spec as the pics I seen you had of it pretty much together looked sick. And I need a uni gate as I didn't get one with it. Figure uni doors and a gate rare pieces I need to find.
