About to put my new unit bearing on and I was wondering which way to go here.

I wish that I had done that when I changed mine out several years ago.
I didn't put any kind of thread lock or anti-seize on mine. They were so locked in I didn't think that they would need it.
However, a little bit of BLUE Locktite probably wouldn't hurt either... especially if you are going to buy new studs next time they need to be replaced in 80K or whenever that is.
Anti seize all the way. I have changed a ton of these. Never had loose studs. Just really rusted in ones. Have had to torch heat quite a few to get them out. The TIMKEN replacement bearings I have been getting comes with new studs.
