well sheez ya went and hurted my feelings by callin' the bird body kit Fugly !!!!!!!!!!! my bird is broken and i thought it would be nice to change it up and make it look like an old car so i can enter it as a custom in some shows !!!!!!!!!!!! ................ NOT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I thought it was more like somebody running a wooden spoon around the inside of a metal garbage can instead of a whistle. One thing is for sure, there is no other engine that sounds like it (for which I'm thankful).
I think the hood lines are akward. I think the wheels and skinny small car tires suck all the fun right out of it. But, hey, I'm just opining my opinion.
I was at a car show about 8 years ago and there was a guy that was selling kits to convert late 90's model F150's into 53's. What about the downsized Peterbuilds and Kenworths, I think they are pretty cool.
I'm with you on the Mini Pete's and Kenny's, they're awesome. I looked into getting a kit a few years back for a motorhome chassis I had, but couldn't handle the price.
As for the OP's pic, I kinda like it. Though I think I would have gone with the 55 over the 58, and pancaked the hood about 3 inches....
