Hi I just found this sight and spent the last couple of hours replying to problems.
I get carried away with these old trucks. I have lost count of how many I have owned, but I currently have a 72 3/4 ton 2wd with a 300 6 and 4 spd. It came with the power disc brakes. I installed the power steering and limited slip in the 3:73 rear. I have owned this truck since 85 and have almost 200,000 on her. Unfortunatly Alaska took its toll on the old girl since I brought her there in 85 and I am about to retire her due to major rust.
I also have a 68 F-250 2wd with a 240, C-4 and a 4:10 rear. She runs smooth as glass but I can't manage more than 10 or 11 mpg out of her for some reason.
