Thanks and welcome!
The holidays kinda slowed me down....
Post up some pics of your truck project if you can.
First of all thanks for answering me, your build is very interesting and I will use most of your ideas. I would like to put the COE body on a GMC one ton dually Duramax diesel , I wounder if anyone has done it?
This is my first attempt at answering anyone so hope it turns out, also I have tried to download pictures but with no success, maybe need to wait until my trial period of ten days and six entries is up???
Happy New Year and hope to see more of your project soon.
And yes, we would love to see pictures of your truck.
Thank you, I have tried to download pictures but I am an old man and these computers baffle me, do not understand all I know about them. I don't even know if this is the proper way to answer back. Any pointers would be appreciated!
I have not figured out how to add pic's yet but will work on it.
Here's one way to put pics in your posts:
Go to Photobucket.com and sign up for a free account. Then create an album for your truck. Upload any pics you want to post on FTE to that album. Have this album open on your computer when you want to post pics on FTE.
While you're making a post on FTE, select the pic you want to post from your Photobucket album. When the large version of the pic is open, right mouse click on it and select "View Image Info". The image info will be highlighted and will look something like this: http://i285.photobucket.com/albums/l...ghtsafter1.jpg
Copy that highlighted info (right click / copy).
When you have the spot in your post where you want the pic to be placed, select the "Insert Image" icon at the top of the post (looks like a mountain) and paste (right click / paste) the image info you copied in the highlighted box (just shows "http://" when it opens).
Hey Allan,
Pic posting can be a pain. The easiest way for me was to join the site.
You pay $20 & you get a little paperclip icon on your page - clicking on the paperclip allows you to post directly from your hard drive.
Thanks Ben, I did manage to download some pictures but they did not go where I wanted them to, I wanted in Garage, they ended up in an album, I will try your system. Best Regards

Your pic will be placed in the post.
Hope that helps.
Joe,
How did you install the small picture that appears beside your name when you make a post? Is it the same way you describe?

From the forum main page, select User CP on the upper left side of the page.
Under "Settings & Options" select Edit Signature.
Scroll down to "Signature Picture". You have two ways to insert a picture shown here. One way is to simply get it from your computer. The other way is to post the URL info like I mentioned earlier.
Note the file size limitation of the pic must be met or it will not load.
