possible 2006 250 problem

ok to start off with the truck runs fine, and starts fine nothing has changed.but I had to put a radiator in the other day,was leaking around the plastic tank on the bottom, put a new thermostat in along with a new radiator cap.now here is where it gets interesting even before, and even now after the engine cools overnight the cooling system is still pressurized.the guy who works on my truck told it was more than likely a head gasket or maybe both, and that's probably why the tank started leaking.any thoughts on this.it has 118000 miles oil cooler has never been changed, does have an egr cooler delete.

Install a Pressure Gauge on one of those small return lines going to Degass bottle

Then Drive truck to Normal operating temp

When at temp Give a few WOT runs and see how high the pressure Goes

8-12psi is Normal anything over 16psi is Problems

You can also buy test strips to check for Combustion gasses in the Coolant

SOunds like the Guy that does your work is On the Money with Headgasket or Oil Cooler

I also noticed the bottom radiator hose doesn't get near as hot,or warm at best than the top after a 30 min trip.

It shouldn't. That means your radiator is working.
