Front Bumber Elimination

My 48f1 front clip is in the body shop for painting. They are going to fill in the openings where the frame protudes the front end to mount the bumper. Does anyone know how much I have to cut off of the frame rails to clear the front sheemetal? I have the chassis, and need to shorten the frame before taking it to them for body assembly.

Here is what I had measured on my front bumper, not sure how much you want to cut off of yours but this might give you an idea...

Thanks, I was thinking about cutting 4-1/4" off. Will be close. May have to take a little more off.

If you don't want the frame horns to protrude, it doesn't matter how much you cut as long as you cut enough. Take off 6 or 8 inches, or more, just to be sure. If you cut all the way to the crossmember, it wouldn't matter.
