Have him look at drivers side door, there should be a sticker on door jamb, and a metal warranty plate on door itself.......it will list model, and more....otherwise, its got what appears to be the right grille, and its got 5 lug wheels, so its LIKELY a 73 F100......lots of them have emblems missing, or they have been removed

either 76 or 77 for F150, as i recall......BUT, a 73 or 74 Grille means nothing, the ONLY thing we know for sure is its a dentside.......OP said "My friend thinks its a 73 F100" . while i cant actually see the lug nuts to guarantee its not an 8 lug F250, those gray steel wheels and chrome beauty rings are something ive never seen in a 8 lug configuration, and ive seen tons of them on 1/2 tons
