Question Front Sway Bar ?

Hey guys,

After getting my '77 running again, I started looking underneath for some areas that need attention. I noticed that it doesn't have a front sway bar. Did this year/model originally come with one? If so, will it hurt/be unsafe to run it without one?

1977 F150 4x4 351M C6 NP205 D44 front/9" rear

Thanks!

Front (and rear) sway bars were optional, included with certain option groups.
No, it won't hurt to drive without it, odds are it came that way from the factory.

Thanks man! I was ordering new bushings for the radius and control arms when I noticed it didn't have a sway bar. Every other truck I've owned had one so I wasn't sure if the previous owner removed it or if it came that way.
