maybe is Thread like this already but I couldn't find one. I thought it would be cool to know what people have run Into and taken care of over the life of the truck.if interested list of any major repairs made due to failure.

Front axle ujoints and all seals
Pitman arm and draglink
Swaybar bushings and endlinks
Iac valve
Tps
Cps
Muffler
Next up is exhaust manifolds and that ******* heater hose that runs under the intake manifold

2003 F-350 V-10
No repairs so far (I changed the spark plugs ,belt ,fuel filter ) . It was in the repair shop only once ,during the last 10 years , for a leaking A/C joint. Still original brakes ( more than half remaining ) at 80K .

2005 F-350 5.4
Bought in July of 2011 with 85K miles, currently at 111K.
No real repairs, just things I would consider normal maintenance.
Oil changes every 5K
Transmission drain and fill at 90K and again at 100K
Fluids in both diffs and transfer case changed at 100K
New shocks at 90K
Brake job at 100K
New tires at 100K

I have a 02 F150 with the 5.4
First thing I fixed was the pass manifold... no more tick lol
Moog front wheel bearings
new front brakes pads and rotors
new rear brakes pads and rotors
Moog inner and outer tie rods, both sides....3 times/ 3 alignments

Bought my truck 2 years ago. Mileage is 117,000. In that time, the repairs I have done to it are:
- Digital Transmission Range Sensor
- Water Separator Valve, Filter, and Cap (twice)
- Batteries
- Differential Covers (Had a leak in the front one)
- Shocks
- Safety Recall (Speed Control System Modification)
- Intercooler Flush, CAC Boots, Plenum inserts, and Catch Can
- Water Pump, 203* Thermostat, Thermostat Housing, all Coolant Hoses with Dual Alternator hose, and Coolant Filter added, Changed to Delo ELC, and Serpentine Belt
- 4r100 Feed Bolts re-torque, new gaskets, new check*****, steelie, spring, and complete Flush
All done with the knowledgeable help of the members of the Forum.
