1993 Explorer V8?

1993 Explorer V8?
I am looking to purchase a 302 engine for my 51 ford F1. There is a '93 Explorer forsale with a V8 here. The seller is not sure if it is the 302. From everything I am reading online says it only came in a V6 model in this year. Is there some information that I am overlooking and this engine did come in a V8 in 93.
