Which model of the Sylvinia SilverStar will fit my 1999 F250 Superduty ?
Are there any connection problems ?
I've read where the Ultra is even better.
Any help or suggestions ?
I saw the PIAA ones at 4 wheel Parts in Indy. The guy said the SilverStars were as good and cheaper. My headlights suck. I switched them out last year... they still suck. I put in Sylvinia something... can't remember if SilverStar or Ultra. I'm thinking of adding a separate relay for them so they have a more direct current path. My '66 F100 (that I miss dearly) had headlights this good.
On the topic of headlights, are the pigtails RiffRaff sells that converts our harnesses from the 9007 bulbs to the 9008/H13 bulbs an improvement? Are the 9008/H13 bulbs brighter?

Those pigtail adapters are for 05 plus headlights on 99-04 trucks or excursions.
I have had the ultras for two years. Had the right side burn out after 8 months. I was told since they are an essentially hotter bulb they are more prone to burn out...especially if you are off roading at night. Since I use mine for a hunting rig from Sep-Jan I think that had something to do with mine.
From the Sylvania bar chart for "life of bulb" ( 4 bars is the maximum)
standard 4 bars
xtravision 2 bars
cool blue 2 bars
silverstar 1 bar
silverstar ultra 1 bar
