Hey guys
I've just purchased a efi 460 and auto out of a mid 90's f250 to put into my 78 f100 2wd, I'm located in Australia so I struggle to find a lot of information but this site has been great! I've found engine mounts and headers but my question is about the efi system and converting it to a mustang mass/map airflow system, does anyone actually sell a computer and loom for this ? As I'm not sure all of the 460's wiring is complete and I figure if it's a better system I'll just run it straight away! I've had a fair bit of a search but can only find reference to mustang ones which we didn't get over here.

Good luck...I have asked this question as well...but no one ever responds. You could always do a GM TBI set-up. Check this out.

Thanks heaps for that I'll give it a look over! I'm also looking at the FAST ezi-efi kits which look fairly promising! Hopefully I can find something to run it soon..

 

Have you made any progress on this as yet? One of my upcoming projects is to put an EFI 460 ('96 model I believe) into a '92 model F250. The F250 is currently an ex St John's ambulance with the 5.8 EFI Windsor in it. It already has the EEC-IV system in it and will be asking if the control system for the 5.8's are the same as the 7.5's.
