Yeah seems to be a very popular brand around here among the other competing brand name offerings. I've seen guys lift up trucks by the bumper shackle mounts to change tires and stuff, can't say I've done it myself or particularly recommend doing that though. When I was shopping I found many of them were comparable in terms of material thickness but the build and fit-and-finish was what made the difference. I'd say go check out the options in person before pulling the trigger on one.

Why not go with a full bumper rather than just a bumpet?
There are a few different manufacturers of the same style bumper as Iron Cross, Road Armour, etc. I think they're all intended to be used as "tough" bumpers.

You may want to check out Smittybuilt, I like mine. They are plenty strong and less money. I have pulled with the shackels front and rear no issues.
Iron cross makes good bumpers. My problem with them is their plasma cut advertising, I hate it.
