Overnight Soak Cold Start Video
Truck sat overnight at around -10*F (-22*C), not plugged in. With the wind chill it was estimated to be around -35*F. This is the coldest I can ever remember here in Cleveland. I'm running 5w40 Rotella, no tune, just about stock everything else. I cycled the glow plugs one time, waited for the buzzing to go off after the coil light went off and cranked and she started right up. It took about 30 seconds to smooth out. Right after the video ends she kicks into high idle. Drove the truck easy for about 5 minutes, power steering is a little tight as are the brakes and transmission shifts until it warms up. After that it was smooth sailing on the 25 minute drive to work.
CEL is my MAP sensor on its way out I believe. It only comes on when its below 15*F, I usually clear it and it never comes back until next winter.
