Started up the truck today to warm it up, mind you in -8 degree weather. I drove it to work with no problems. It sounded different. Getting on the highway after a 30 min idle and the thing boosts to 30 psi like *that*. No boost at 70 mph like I usually do. I can only do 65 without the thing trying to blow the turbo apart. No check engine light. It'll boost quickly, but down on power. What do I do here? Is it safe to drive as is as long as I stay out of the boost?
I have another vehicle, but the doors are frozen shut and for the life of me I cannot get them open. I don't know what to do right now lol
If its just the door seal that is frozen and not the lock pull the handle to open the door latch and grasp the bottom edge of the door and pull it open.
Only got two lol. But yeah, it was almost 40 yesterday and the snow started to melt. Now that it's -11, anywhere and everywhere water was is now ice. It sucks
Ok, I lied. Put the determinator on the truck this morning and lo and behold, I have a p0069 code. Watching in datastream, with throttle, voltage and pressure stay the same on the baro sensor. Ebp shows fluctuation with throttle in voltage and pressure. Do I have a bad map? I'm taking the line off to make sure it isn't clogged
Map pressure shows 30.71 inHg/15.09 psi at idle. Maf is at .2 g/s at idle and goes to 1 g/s at 3000 rpm in neutral. Power braking, map goes up past 50 inHg.... vgt duty cycle at idle is 70%

MAP, BARO, EBP at KOEO.
Check the MAP nipple and hose for plugging and leaks.
