34k here, no problems, completely stock. Two thirds highway, half of that towing heavy.

I've got an 2011 bought in Dec of 2010. 38K on it now. No problems at all.
Runs perfect, shifts perfect. Every thing works. Change the oil, put fuel in and drive it.

9,000 miles without a visit to the dealer, except for an oil change at 5,000 miles. 4,800 of those towing our 15,000 lbs 5th wheel camper.

An 8/12 purchase date and a little over 17,000 trouble free miles. About 4000 miles towing 7000 lbs and a considerable fraction of mileage off the highway on dirt roads and double track .... maybe 10-15%. It is the limitations of stock equipment that are irritating: weak rear suspension, lousy Rancho shocks, 26 gallon tank. Having said that, I love driving my truck and I am fixing the irritations.

Sorry to hear of your troubles. I would look at the Mitsubishi Fuso too. I personally wouldn't touch a Dodge with a 50ft pole, if you go read the 2010+ forums on the Dodge's, it reads often like a horror story.

The Isuzu and the Mitsubishi will both be slower/less comfortable than the Ford, but both of them will go forever.
