I have 75,000 on my 2012 and I have not had any problems! I have been deleted since 13k. Some heavy towing and a little fun too.

Well, I love my truck but I can't post in this thread.....IIRC I had 122,000 miles before I had trouble. Let's just say I'm glad I got the extended warranty.

Really, y'all don't have anything to worry about, just an early build issue that should be gone now.

Engine dropped a valve? Do you know your build date, mine was built Aug. 11th, 2010. I've seen a few early build with 200K miles or more so I'm hoping I can get that outta mine without the engine decided it doesn't want to live any more.

Yup, July/10 build. Truck has 196,000, 2012 motor has 74,000 on it. I did lose a turbo on this new motor and one of those exhaust sensors.

My warranty runs to 200,000 and has covered over $30,000 in costs so far. I do love the truck though, great powertain.

WOW. 500k on the 6.7, sounds great to me. Even the mileage you guys have is good enough to me. Sounds like the extended warranty really saved you on this one. Good info, thanks.

Deleted and customized from the beginning! 43k miles and 20 months later other than regular oil/fuel filter change, nothing repaired, OE or custom. Same tires, same brakes..... same everything!!... unlike my 6.0L LOL.....need I say more !?!? That's a whole new thread LOL

Ruschejj,

I assume you have an esp warranty. When I go to ford's website I don't see it listed. Did you have to call? Also, is the warranty only mileage based or is it x years/200k miles?

Thanks for the response.
