99 E-250 bolt pattern

I need to know if the bolt pattern on a 99 E-250 (drum brakes) is metric, or the old school 8x6.5 ? I know the F-series changed over to metric on 99, but did the E-series change over as well ? THANKS

8 x 6.5........rear is DANA 60 ....unless you have a Cube Van.... .(then Dana 70 or 80 ) Sterlings were F Series Only.....(At least here in Canada ) You don't know the Talking Heads Song ? ( Once in a LIfetime )

1150 Dominators, 8-71 Hampton, Blue Thunder heads, SVO block, Diamond pistons, forged rotating assembly. I run the blower 18% over on 9:1 static, spin it around 6.5-6.7K, 1050hp.

LOL, it's actually pump 92. Intercooler with unlimited 60* water going through it, and the fact it's a pumper (jet drive) it never see's what would typically be a "load". It's not possible to "lug" a jet pump, they just rev to where you want them.

I started with a normal 460 2 bolt block, this is what happened.....

You should use the 70's blocks like mine ( Truck /Lincoln ) Internally balanced....
UNLESS you can find a Interceptor 428 block ( 69-71) .....they were real stong....
I know a guy who has one with the 429 BOSS heads and he makes 1500 all day with dual quads ( Holley 750 square Bore ) ..he uses Av gas and lead additve and has MSD ( Very modified as he is a Electronic geek ) Cayuga Motor Speedway stock car racing track Considering it is in a 77 Lincoln Town Car ( Gutted with Roll cage )

That WAS a 70's block, just not a 4 bolt unit. A 428 PI is a nice find, but they split right down the center when you lean on them hard, besides being an FE block. I think I'll stick with my 385 series SVO block, it seems to be holding up well .

77 "Town Car"...NICE !!!

That is indeed one very, very purty motor. (Extreme attention to detail, obviously no upper budget?)

Not sure I'd be naked and peeing on the ground BUT I'd certainly be in awe seeing it in person!
