i have a home security DVR system in the house and want to send the recorded image to the desktop PC so i can burn it on a DVD.
the back of the DVR has video out plugs, but i can not figure out how to plug into the pc.
anyone have any ideas on how to go from the BNC connectors on the back of the DVR into the computer?.
i tried using the usb port on the DVR to a usb on the computer, but it did nothing.
unfortunately the security DVR's sold these days are made in china and the little one page instructions are pretty much useless.
did it come with software....i had a few things that i tried using didnt have software but i was able to unload it online....i noticed a software disc was part of that package
I can't help with the problem, but good to know someone here understands things like this. I had to get a 6th grader to show me how to connect my DVD to my TV.
i ain't that bad kermmy.
as a matter of fact, i am the go to guy for electronics in the family.
and it drives me nuttier than i already am that i cant figure this damn thing out.
i was looking over your owners manual... it said you can hook up a flash drive to that usb port..... than use that to get your files to your computer to turn into a disc...good luck
