New Here

Morning All,

I currently own a Nissan Titan. I like the truck but a move to a larger travel trailer has me thinking about purchasing an F250.

I plan on reviewing a lot of old threads to get a feel for ownership of a Ford truck.

I've looked new and missed a used one. Before I do anything I want to get an idea which years are to be avoided and any issues with the trucks of various years.

Diesel or gas?

12' and up 6.7 is doing very good as far as I know.

Because of the amount I drive the truck I am leaning towards a gasser even though I know diesel makes towing a better experience.

Then there is the diesel purchase premium...ouch!

I've heard all good re the 6.7.

The 6.2 sounds to be a great engine, not much to worry about with that purchase. I'm actually thinking of one now that I won't be towing heavy.

Good luck choosing your new truck

I've heard that also. Since I am not super heavy, maybe around 8.2K, I think the gas motor will do me fine and be better suited to hoe I use the truck when not towing.
