Thanks! It was a fairly quick removal. 1/2" deep socket with extension. I also used the universal attachment on socket to allow angled approach to rear bolts. The "star" bolt in between tubes? I used my star tip, I think a 12, and basic 1/4" screw driver 8" extension. The upper vertical surface plane that attaches to throttle body has four 3/8" bolts. Gaskets may fail when removed, cheap to buy new set. There's a 1/2" nut on lower left plenum housing attaching to a support to engine block. Two 1/2" bolts on top horizontal plate for throttle cable. Not sure if you need to remove plenum to pull valve covers though. Care is needed to move plenum because of the vacuum lines. I don't think you have to move the plenum completely out of engine bay. I used a 12" adjustable wrench to loosen nut that holds the insulated pipe at front left (I do not know the part's name).

Hello and good morning.
Thanks for the instructions!
I just want to clean things a bit as well as paint my valve covers and install the bracket from Summit Racing that separates the spark plug wires.
However, I do not want to "get over my head".
What brand/type gaskets are you using?
Thanks!
Boon
P.S. I also want to remove the unnecessary plumbing from the Air Pump.
