front locking hub vacuum fitting

Does anyone know what size the vacuum tube nipple is for the auto locking hubs on a 4x4? Or where I can locally find one? I got part number f81z4022ba from my local ford parts department but they have to order it. Just trying to find out the nipple or vacuum tube size as I know the screw in part is 1/8 inch NPT. Or better yet anyone know where to get a stainless steel version so it doesnt rust?

I used a brass pneumatic fitting. 1/8" MPT x 1/8" barb

Been on for three years, no issues. Could probably find one at your local hardware store. I changed the line as well and secured it to the barb with a zip tie as well.

Cheers

I live in Wisconsin so I leave the hubs locked in from Nov or Dec to March or April. I installed plugs in place of the fittings and removed the vacuum lines. I'm not a fan of vacuum operated hubs.

mine have never worked. I pulled apart the hub to replace the needle bearing. After some research, I saw it was common that water gets in the vacuum hole. The airline was literally just stuck in the hole. No fitting. Most of my seals are bad. So I’m gonna just plug it up until next summer when I can rebuild it all.
