Todd, when I look at myself in the mirror I scare myself half to death. Yes, where is the time going?
Jose, your not to far off on that mileage. I have to be just north of Detroit before RRE so its only 600 miles from there, LOL.
Rich, no matter which way I turn this truck I have a head wind, LOL Down in NM I wanted the cash discount so took $300 in thinking I would be going back for change. The pump shut off at $300.12 LOL Now that's a way to get a little extra 10mpg, I don't think so. Anywhere from 6 to 9 is more like it. I drive 70 though, the heck with it!! My rear 38 gallon tank, 33 aux tank and normal front tank is working out nice.

Same here, we drove 26 hours in 36 hours' time to get the truck I have now. It was almost exactly 900 miles each way. We left around 1300 on Saturday and got back home at 0100 on Monday morning.
I just saw on the facebook the rre 2014 thread they are needing a head coun for food etc...
I have 4
next.
thomas,jp,alex,gabe,josh... the 17th ..we leaving out from here early i guess..??
jp,thomas. Are you fellas camping here at my house? I think Alex may come here wed night as well.
I'm game as long as my work deal doesn't keep me from going. The job I'm probably getting is a swing shift so I might be screwed, but I'm hoping not to be messed over. I'm in desperate need of work, so I will be accepting anything that pays decent.

Me and the honey actually just talked about this a few days ago. She doesn't want to take off of work any longer than she has to, so we WILL be there Wednesday, but it will be Wednesday night (prolly around supper time). We will know closer to time of course.
The plan as of right now, if we think we can afford it, is to bring our 5th wheel. I keep hoping we might be able to squeeze 10 mpg out of it somehow... but I know better lol. Heck, Im only getting 18 mpg empty
Only 43 days til everybody gets together for the convoys to RRE! I got so much to do to my truck and haven't even started any of it yet. I take that back.....I am getting two new front tires tomorrow.
Where has the time gone!!?? Not sure if anything will get done to my truck at this point. Pulled the camper out of my neighbors last night and she is a little rough. Nothing some elbow grease can't fix! Hey, it'll match my truck. Lol
niceeee Todd lol
Dont you love friends with campers?! I borrowed a friends drive-able 'honey-bee' when I went to a camping concert. Made my life luxurious!
As for what my truck needs and will get done before RRE... thats a water pump. The axle seals and 100 oil leaks will have to wait until I return and have money. This trip is going to drain me. lol
Edit: Is anyone planning on doing any wrenching while down there? We dont normally, but I recall seeing pics of the SD guys engine swap one year! Wish I woulda seen that!

Bill & Aaron said they would do a 4 by 4 conversion on my truck.
