Now that you mention it, I haven't had any build up, haven't cleaned them once this winter. You can see my bumper and grill is having some build up issues. Now, I'm not sure if they are keeping themselves clear or maybe just cause they are tucked in a bit?

I'm guessing with the size of the heat sinks on those lights, there has to be some sort of heat to them. Probably not much, but enough to melt the snow/ice. Thanks buddy

Just an update..ordered 2 rigid dually floods for the rear and 2 rigid D2's I'm gonna put in the front bumper beside the license plate. Should be nice for a little extra light. Got the front and rear camera hooked up and now I'm just waiting for a replacement NAV radio as the one they sent me isn't correct. Should hopefully be all done by next week. Here's the front camera installed if anyone is interested. Really not too noticeable.

I was acting like a little kid and started looking at the picture first before reading. I didn't notice it until I read it and did a double take on the picture

Sick setup Brett! LEDs have come a long way. It is truly impressive the output of these little lights. Best thing about them is the durability. Solid stage lighting, means nothing should break technically. I am running the baja designs in my fogs and a light bar, but if I knew the output of the baja squadron XL'S were before I bought the led bar, I wouldn't have bought it.

Got a Rigid product being delivered today. (New thread w/pics to come once installed.) I've been waiting to order as Rigid does price fixing and every vendor was at the same price. I finally found one that ignored the policy and got a great deal. Looking forward to seeing yours installed. I too was going to install two lights on either side of the plate (Q series as opposed to duallys) but I use my truck to plow in the winter and didn't want to fight my hands around lights to grab my wiring every time I put the plow on. I was then going to do a light bar across the center of the bumper opening (rigid makes a vehicle specific mount for this), but need a front plate in MA and didn't want to chance the bored small town cop giving me a hard time about it. Then I found Rigid makes vehicle specific mounts to swap out your fogs for their Q series lights and was considering that. Didn't want to loose my stock fogs for everyday cruising though. So, I came up with another plan...

I was gonna do the lightbar as well but in TX you have to have a front plate so that's why I'm doing the D2's beside it. I already haev no plate on my Viper and never got pulled over yet but didn't want to risk it with the truck. Also as for the pricing, somehow amazon had the pair for 279 when almost everywhere else was closer to 379 so I picked up a pair.

I hear you. I don't run a front plate on my CTS-V except when getting inspected. I didn't even let the dealer install the front mount and with the shape of the front end, you'd never think a plate should be there. I just zip tie it when I get it inspected. The truck is different though and I don't want to push my luck. I thought of moving my plate as jdadamsjr suggested, but I didn't want it to look slapped on or not centered.

That's my reasoning as well for not moving it.

I have D2s in place of the factory fog lights. Currently looking for a reason to get the 20" E-Series bar for the giant hole in the bumper (no front plates in FL).
