Engine Stutter ABS light

I have a recurring issue, I do not understand. The issue occurs when on a longer drive, regardless of ambient temeperature (hot weather, cold weather - does not matter), and weather I am pulling a trailer or not. If I am at highway speeds for an extended period of time, while using cruise control, occasional there will be a slight engine stutter, which typically disengages cruise control, and turns on the ABS light. When I hit resume, the cruise control performs normally, but the ABS light stays on. The light will typically turn off when I turn off the truck, and restart it. I have removed, and cleaned, tha ABS sensor, in the rear diff. (but not replaced it). What could be the cause? I have a 2005 F250 6.0L PSD, with an auto XMSN, and 4WD.
