Ha ha cold temps..... My trainee isn't liking them to much. It's 32 up here in northern NV close to Idaho line and he's really complaint about it "being cold outside". I told him just wait it's gonna get colder.....lol
Howdy Az gang the 89 F250 is running now. Just have to bolt the bumper on, hook up the lights, new windshield, bolt passanger seat down and get door locks along with an actuator for the steering wheel which I have.

Bill, we used to get HAMMERED with cold fronts when I lived in Tallahassee. One January we had three weeks straight waking up at under 20*!!! Those fronts that roll down the east half of USA end up right there! Pensacola oughtta be tempered by the Gulf, but I bet they still get some of that cold weather....
Haven't logged on in a long time...things at work are busy & when I get home I don't want to look at another computer.
For kicks, the kiddo and I took the truck to the scales yesterday. With us, and a little bit of assorted stuff in the cab, it weighed in at 7,020#.
I've had an interesting few weeks learning about commercial motor vehicles, inter- and intra-state travel, and USDOT numbers. All of which is enough to convince me that a 3/4 ton truck would do the job and have much less hassle, should there be a next truck in my future.

If you are hauling interstate commerce you will need DOT numbers. And what we do out here would kill any 3/4 ton pick up truck!!
