I spent the weekend working the 9-5 thing, then working on my 56 project some, then watched my buddy paint a plow, and finially we started serting up his new tool box.
Not a bad weekend at all here. Got the garage a little more organized on Saturday, then watched the Pats game. Yesterday, I borrowed my buddy's '12 Cummins dually and trailer to get my daughter's boyfriend's Scion. He had hit a curb and bent a control arm, so I replaced that yesterday afternoon.
Evening RI. It sure was a Monday. Everyone get to see the PATS? This is going to be a fun game to watch Sunday!
Putting on a new glue plug relay. One of the only things I didn't do over the summer. It's only two years old, but ....
Should fire right up tomorrow now.
LOL Wade, in my defense, it's the newest truck I've driven in at least five years. I may have been swayed by all the goodies: heated seats and steering wheel, factory nav and backup camera...
Sandy asked me how I felt about getting back into my old trusty (rusty) 95 from the 2012. I told her that while the Dodge is a nice truck, I didn't get that "OMG I GOTTA HAVE ONE" feeling.
I still think, at some point, a 6.0 is what I'll end up in.
Good hump day to ya RI!! I admit that I to have a buddy that bought a 2013 ram. I was not overwhelmed with envy though. I prefer the power of the Ford 6.7 over the Cummins version. These new diesels are just sooooo quiet! I think I'll stick with my 7.3. The payments are better anyway. Lol.

Wade I agree there. Everytime I hop in a lariat f350 crew cab pickup truck with the nav, premium stereo, power everything, 20" chrome wheels, and the power closing mirrors, I get the "I want one feeling". Then I fire up the new Diesel engine. if I wasn't looking at the cluster I would swear the thing is t running.
I want my Diesel engine to sound like I just poured a 50lb sack of 3/4" nuts and bolts down the intake.
Unfortunately for me all I get to do is drive the trucks around the building so I can park them in he service area. :-(. I don't get an operatunity to "really" drive any of these new trucks.
