Another snowy morning to all... :-( I am really sick of snow!!!

But even though yesterday was a crappy weather day, craigslist gave me another bargain.

I picked up a 2003 mustang gt 5 speed for $90.00. Great price as it is for a core. The seller already knew the transmission had a 2nd gear issue and had purchased a second gear rebuild kit. I looked the kit up last night... That rebuild kit alone is $300 and change. SCORE!!!!!

Of course, I have been searching CL for a few months with no luck finding a transmission. About a week ago I ordered a rebuild transmission from TN and had it shipped to me. Typical, once u buy something u find it local scenario.

But of course the new tranny didnt come with a shifter base. Well... The CL one did. :-)
